Cyclists will find a perfect starting point in Aldeboarn. Water sports opportunities are ample too the Pikmeer and the Sneekermeer are easily accessible.

As are the many interesting surrounding villages. The old inner city of Leeuwarden. The cosy water sports city Sneek and the Chameleon village in Terherne are also worth a visit.
