In Oberharmersbach you can easily reach some interesting places, the Rust Europa Park and the Schwarzwälder Freilicht Museum are on the German side of the border. Strasbourg is on the French side. They are all reasonably close and worth visiting. You can also enjoy the peace and quiet and natural beauty of the Black Forest.
