On this tour we will visit Rio de Contas and Cachoeira do Cleandro, a waterfall with 3 waterfalls, located in the beautiful Atlantic Forest.
The trip starts at the place combined with the boat, a small boat with capacity for up to 8 people that will take us along the Contas river and the mangroves.
Along the route in the Rio de Contas, passengers will be able to see the meeting of the sea water with the river water, an interesting meeting. Along the way the guide will tell you about the region's ancient stories, including the wreck of a steamboat that occurred in the cocoa season. Climbing the river the participants will be able to observe beautiful birds like, Hawk, Heron, Vulture, Sabiá, Seven Colors, and many others; and also the mangroves along the banks of the river, habitat of thousands of crabs.
The final destination is a short trail in the forest to Cachoeira do Cleandro. The waterfall is 26 meters high, 3 waterfalls and 2 natural pools, perfect for a delicious dip. Beside the waterfall there is a restaurant that sells food, drink, sweets and also some handmade products. For those who want, lunch can be organized on-site, or in another location to match the boatman.
The tour lasts for about 3 - 4 hours, but depends on what is agreed with the boatman.
