Between mountains and forests. It has an area of 3,600 hectares of mountains, valleys, slopes and waterfalls.
The Sanctuary has healing centers, special programs for companies or schools, and the most exciting and attractive adventure tourism excursions in a place of great beauty surrounded by native forests, under the watchful eye of the spectacular and impressive condor.
You can do outdoor activities such as horse riding and hiking. Entering the trails, you reach the natural waterfall, crossing a gazebo that offers an impressive panoramic view. And for the boldest, adventure tourism.
It is located on the banks of the Maipo River, 60 km away. from Santiago
From downtown Santiago, take Avenida Vicuña Mackenna and then Avenue Departamental to the east until you reach Avenida La Florida. To the south on Av. La Florida, then take Camino al Volcán toward San José de Maipo.
From the eastern sector of Santiago, there are two alternatives. The first is to take the Americo Vespucio highway, exit at the Las Torres exit and turn east on Av. Departamental to Av. La Florida. Then take Av. Florida to the south until you reach Camino al Volcán and then head towards the destination city.
The other option is to take Macul Avenue and continue until you cross Américo Vespucio, where it becomes La Florida Avenue. Continue along Av. La Florida to the south until you reach Camino al Volcán, then head toward San José de Maipo.
Facilities include restaurants, cabins, camping, playgrounds and grass fields.
