It includes the districts of Pocollay, Calana and Pachia, it is characterized by its mild and dry climate. It is also known as the tacneña countryside.
The Old Valley is the old valley of Tacna, which stretches for 23 km. and it is located in the upper part of the city, towards the northeast.
The best known attractions are the Virgen de las Mercedes Church, the Peañas Site Museum, the Miculla Archaeological Complex, the Calientes Thermal Baths, the Pachia Countryside and the Virgen del Rosario Church (Pachia). Throughout this tour, you can taste the tastiest wine and typical food in the different restaurants in the area.
