Situated in 300 acres of countryside on the edge of the Dedham Vale and just off the A134, this hotel is approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Colchester and Ipswich.
Stoke By Nayland Hotel offers a choice of excellent dining facilities, Peake Spa & Health centre, and two 18-hole championship golf courses. There is also a driving range with 20 covered bays. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
There are conference and banqueting facilities for up to 450 people and free car parking for up to 350 cars. Stansted Airport and London are one hour’s drive away. Depicted in the paintings by artists Gainsborough and Constable, the hotel is situated on the picturesque Essex/Suffolk border, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such, you can enjoy a range of country pursuits during your stay; from golf and fishing to walking and cycling.
You can also visit the traditional market towns of Sudbury and the Tudor villages of Lavenham and Long Melford. The bustling towns of Colchester and Ipswich are both within a 20 minute drive. The award-winning Colchester Zoo and a stunning Norman Castle are also within easy reach. The two 18-hole championship golf courses are in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering some of the finest golfing facilities in the East of England. Tee times may be booked prior to your arrival, these are subject to availability.
Please note that golf reservations may have to be altered or courses changed at late notice due to weather, course maintenance or competitions. No refunds are given for green fees in the event of adverse weather conditions.
